Privacy policy

GateNavo shows departure and arrival boards of European airports. We read flight data from the public official airport websites and keep only the current snapshot of each board and technical statistics about the readings. The site has no accounts, sign-up forms or payments.

• Search queries. What you type into the airport search is sent to our server only to show the result; we do not link queries to a person.
• Hosting logs. The hosting provider may briefly keep the IP address, the time of the request and the page address for security and fault diagnosis. We do not use these logs for profiling.
• Server errors. If a page could not be rendered, we record a technical description of the error, without the content of your requests and without personal data.
• The fact of a visit. When you open a page, the site team receives an anonymous notification: the page address, the country and city (determined by the hosting from the IP address), the device type and the site you came from. We do not store the IP address or pass it on in the notification, and no cookies are used for this. Opening a board also tells us which airports to refresh more often.

We use Umami, a cookieless analytics service that counts page views, device, country and events such as “airport board opened”. Umami sets no cookies in your browser and collects no identifiers that could single out a person. We do not send e-mail addresses, booking numbers or any personal data you enter to analytics.

The public pages of GateNavo set no cookies. The only cookie of the site is a technical one that protects the administrators' internal panel from forged requests; it appears only for people who sign in to the internal section.

We link to the official websites of airports, border services and carriers. When you follow a link, the privacy policy of that site applies. We keep airline logos on our own server and do not load them from third-party services while you browse.
