Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL) is located in Gosselies, 7 km north of the centre of Charleroi and 46 km south of Brussels. It is a low-cost airport: Ryanair has its first continental base here, and Wizz Air uses it as a focus city; Pegasus, Air Corsica, Air Arabia and Volotea also fly here.

The airport has two terminals: the first opened in January 2008 (capacity of 5 million passengers a year), and the second, Terminal 2, in January 2017, which made it possible to increase capacity to 10 million passengers a year.
